Born in Norway and having lived in several countries, she finally found her permanent home in Menorca. Her professional life has been as varied as the places where he has lived, but during all these years she has always kept a passion for fabrics, fibers and the art of dyeing. During a year at art school when she was young, she discovered a world of colorful patterns and she fell in love with the batik technique. A few years ago she took up dyeing again, but with a deeper awareness of sustainability and environmentalism, she did not feel comfortable using synthetic dyes. A workshop of natural dyes with wool in the mountains of her country opened her eyes to the infinite possibilities of using plants to extract colors. She decided to devote herself to learning more, and followed a course of natural dyes with Justine Aldersey-Williams in "The Wild Dyery" Now she works from Es Migjorn, developing her skills and exploring the flora of Menorca and its potential in natural dyeing.
